Re: check this out!
Looks like the domain name is paid up through June 2012. So, dunno... I think we can stick a fork in her though.... she seems to be done.
Re: check this out!
apparently they keep shutting down the hosting for overuse of resources, but I haven't been able to get an answer as to what his plan is or if he wants help on the hosting front.
yes the domain is paid for until 2012 and whois data has little to do with your hosting

Re: check this out!
I didn't post it HERE but I already knew everything you just posted Will. I've already checked with host gator and got the low down (in veiled talk) and knew the domain name was not expired. Quite simply this is something Mike will just have to fix himself. Or he shut it down voluntarily. That information I don't know.diedemus wrote:apparently they keep shutting down the hosting for overuse of resources, but I haven't been able to get an answer as to what his plan is or if he wants help on the hosting front.

Re: check this out!
There was quite a lot of valuable information on the site. Writeup's, useful threads, and knowledgeable people that we will likely not see on other sites. I see it as a loss of a good resource and yes, an entertaining one at times too.
Re: check this out!
Yeah its not that he isnt paying for it, or berettastuff.com would probably go down at the the same time. Its probably over its quarterly traffic quota or something.

Re: check this out!
Ah well.
No worries for me, haven't been there in like... Months. Only this past week have I had time to grace you all with my presence here.... LMAO
Though I will try to be on more often... New year, more to do.
Edit:
That reminds me, anyone up for donating a 3400 and a 3T60E that's usable/rebuildable? Not looking for an engine that needs the entire lower end rebuilt, but not above redoing head gaskets, LIM etc, cleaning it out thoroughly, that sort of thing. Same goes for the tranny, don't want one that has grenaded, but if it needs new packs, diff, etc, that would be cool.
Thinking about doing a 3400 swap, but the swap does not have to be a need nothing setup. I don't mind doing a little rebuild, if it will keep the cost down. Budget is tight, I know I have to redo the tranny anyway, and the 3100 despite being bullet proof through all the BS I have dealt with, I am a bit leery of my luck as someone called it holding out for another road trip.
lol

Re: check this out!
it isn't over quota, the poor coding of the forum software and basic functionality issues force it to use more resources than they allow, its been sitting high enough on a shared hosting package that it effects other users so they disabled the account.
