I'm still around

Post by 95BerettaBase »

Well, most people know me from the "other" site. Been a member since 2005 and have been inspired by a lot of members Berettas. I'm still around and still interested in the cars even though mine has not seen the road since April 2009. She just sits in the garage and awaits the day I can find time to tear her apart and repair the body, do some suspension work, and purchase a new set of wheels/tires.

Just wanted to say its good to be back among the community. :Yahoo!:

Thanks SGR. I see you have aquired ANOTHER Quad 4. :) It looks pretty nice from what I can see of it.

Chris I haven't heard from you in a long time. I actually was up in your neck of the woods last week snowmobiling. We stayed in Brimley, rode to Sault Ste. Marie, Tahquemenon Falls, Paradise, Grand Marais, St. Ignace, and rode the ice bridge to the island. Put on somewhere over 700 miles.

As for what I've been up to, I've just been working my butt off and working around the house. I'm actually going to be building a pole barn in the spring. I am leaving for Florida next Saturday for a 5 night cruise to the Bahamas so I will be getting away from this snow for a while. I'm ordering a new Harley in the spring, already have it picked out. I'll post pics when I get it so you won't know what it is until then. :D

As for a Mini Meet, I'm up for one depending on how my work schedule goes. I probably won't be able to bring the Beretta since she's been in storage since October of 2009. Stay in touch bud.

as to why i havent touched my car since october when i pushed it in the garage. my house consumes alot of time between finishing my basement and having to get rid of the paneling in my upstairs bedroom cause it looks like its from 1970s

Yea houses definately take up a lot of time, but its worth it. I have to admit though, it will be great when I can start working on the car again. I've been trying to concentrate on my truck and I have to say, by coming onto this site and being around Beretta enthusiasts again, I have more motivation to start working on my car.

Good to hear you're alive. I too have recently started checking back to this site. Like Chris said, we should all get together again sometime this year. Other than Brett, it's been a couple years since I've seen anyone from the area.

We most likely need to put something together before fest this year. I will start looking into venues next month, see where it can be done. Suggestions, PM me. We might have a thread someplace, if not I will start one when I get organized.

I'm going to say not Mackinaw this time, haha. Before Bfest is what I was thinking too. Somewhere more south should be a little warmer. April or May would probably be best, and somewhere on the coast would be nice... Holland maybe?

Haven't been to Holland in a long time, would be an excellent suggestio, especially if its timed for the spring right. Actually, isn't that near Hell too? Would be killer to make a Hell of a pic shot. LOL

Ok. I just thought it was up near Holland for some reason. :P

Though to be honest that area between and around Detroit to Lansing IS hell. :D
