Perfect Twice in Two Weeks

Post by ROLNGTZ »

I bowled my 7th and 8th 300/perfect game two weeks apart. Would have had a third, but a 7/10 split in the 9th fixed that.

I went bowling a couple weekends ago and sucked miserably! haha

I was in a league a few years ago and averaged about 150, but hit 200+ pretty often. I'm really streaky night to night depending on the amount of oil on the lanes. I throw a wicked hook with no fingers in the ball and if the lanes are too dry I really struggle.

I rock on my wii league... LOL But as for real bowling, yeah, its been awhile. Sad to say I doubt I could bowl half that number. I would probably be lucky to break 100.

I started bowling in third grade. Bowled till 8th grade(14yrs old). Quit till I was 24yrs old. Took a break from it in 2004(! was 34yrs old). Started back up 2009-2010 season. Last season was my best ever 221 average. So far this year will beat last year. I am averaging 224 so far.

I'll bring my Ball(s)

LOL

Speaking of that... Roln, what size do you throw? 12 or 14 or larger?

I take 5 balls to the league. :D

Depending on lane conditions:
15lb Track Code Red Special Edition "primary" both 300s with it
15lb Track Triton Elite(dull)
16lb Track Triton Elite(pearlized)
15lb Track Avenger
16lb Ebinite Yankee Doodle ball "spare ball"

I use to throw a 16lber. I would hit the pocket so hard with a 16lber. I would blast everything into the pit. Leaving a lot of single pins(9 counts). :sorry: When I dropped to the 15lber, I start getting a lot better pin action and more strikes. :Yahoo!: I do keep the one 16lber, when I can't get carry(leaving single pins/9 counts). I switch to it. Problem solved.

ROLN, have you by chance ever bowled against my cousin Joe Arvai IV from Racine, WI, he's 37 and travels all over to bowl. I think he's had 8 or 9 career 300 games now and his Father has had even more! I know he recently threw a 299 and an 823 series!!!

Also, I've never broken 150, lol

Not that I recall. I don't bowl in to many tournaments. He sound like a heeluva cowler for only being 17yrs.

You mean 37, lol... You sound like you bowl good enough to be competitive in tournament play. Could you handle playing in front of a big crowd and on TV? That's not for me! lol
