91 gtz, no title, a lil help here....

anyone know if obtaining a title for a car is do-able if it was sold to you via bill of sale? i might buy it just for parts, but really hate to do that since they are soo hard to come by, so i dont know if anyone has ever bought a car via bill of sale then tried to aquire a title for it???

you should be able to go to the courts and get the info you need. pretty sure its quite possible long as there is no lean against it.

well, i went to the notory, just to be sure, they said in the state of pennsylvania only the owner can get the title, takes a week and 36.50. so i called the owner, and told him, now he refuses to sell the car whole, just parts off it.... oh well. i tried.

IF so i took the front bumper cover and going bac to get the A/C lines.

you should get the vin and try getting his name and see what the real owner says

that be the one, does me no good for parts... i already have door panels, seats, shift cables, a 91 trans, and a spare quad motor, and that quad dont run. sucks to see it bite the dust, but oh well, dip crap wont give me a title, his loss.
