New to Beretta.net, but not to Berettas.

Post by Haskin »

Been a lurker a long time. My usual postings were on Bstuff, but I recently switched. Love Berettas, and definitely love the community here.

I own:
'94 2.2 Base
'94 3.1 Z26
'80 Camaro Berlinetta

I've started restoring each of them slowly. The Z26 needs much less work than the other two. For the base, I installed Indy seats, and Z26 rims (not pictured). Currently the Z26 is on jack stands while I rebuild the transmission. The base is out for an electrical issue. The Camaro is waiting for warmer weather...

Thanks for the welcome guys! I'm up here in Southern Minnesota. Bought the white Z about a year back. Nothing but problems since! I originally bought it because the yellow one blew a head gasket, but I ended up doing the head gasket on both about a month later.

Welcome! Did you make the Base yellow, or did you buy it already that way?

The paint on the Z is nothing special haha. More like a 10 foot paint job. Any closer and it looks like crap. Someone already dinged the hood, so I have to fix a chip there.

I bought the base that way. The base is special. It has a salvaged title because it was in a horrible accident and was later on put back together with pieces of frame from a donor car. So, if you pull out the back seat you can see the original colors of the 2 cars (red and a bluish color). I got it for 300, so I can't complain. I've put waaaaay more into it since.
