Yeah i read that and havent had time to see if they still make those or not... I might go for that i will have to do a search on that when i get home from work.3X00-Modified wrote:I'm not 100% positive, as I noted there is nothing else to look for... KYB Gas-Adjust for the rears and GR-2's for the front are about all there is for 100% drop in replacement. I'm running that now, it's OK... but definatley could use to be stiffer up front, and more dampening in the rear.SummitBalt08 wrote:I got quoted for KYB Gas-adjust for the rear and GR-2s for the front, they also said they had replacement front mounts but they said i didnt need anything for the rear. I dont know lol3X00-Modified wrote:Just remember our biggest problem is lack of choices when it comes to shocks, more so than springs. The only "BEST" option out there is using the Koni J-body front inserts and Saab rears since the KYB's are marginal if not very close to stock replacement.
I'm thinking of doing that possibly next year.
Should i be looking for something different? What year saabs for the rear?
Geoff said he might do the J-body front inserts and the Saab rears and I told him to document all the p/n's so I can use that info next year when I go to do this.
SummitBalt08, have you read anything about the J-body springs fitting or did you just glide over that part?
Should i get new inserts for the rear or will the just getting new ones work for now?
This is helping alot

Re: Where to find Eibach Springs for my 94??
Right now the car has alot of suspension noises, and probably from sitting in the garage for almost 2 years. Thats why im wanting to get new everything so i dont have that. Woody, if the set is in good condition and all im not afraid to send 200 for them. I just want springs that will be durable and give it a bit of a better stance.

Re: Where to find Eibach Springs for my 94??
There are no inserts for the rear. This is where lack of information is showing up.
We have 3 choices with shocks these days... KYB, Monroe, and other OEM brands.... OR you can buy inserts for a J-body from Koni since they do not make a 100% compete strut, because it would cost them more money to do that so the one insert they have can also cover more applications and it happens to fit ours as well with some modifications.
Also with the rears they are shocks, so we had to find one that matched and the closest match to the shocks that we run is the Saab ones in Koni form, other than that once again you can get KYB, Monroe or other OEM brand.
The whole reason why Speedy said the j-bodys fit is because they are still sold.

The Eibach part numbers for Beretta and 94 Cavalier are the same.. and are unavailable as well as far as i can tell. Unless your talking about springs for the 95-02 Cavalier will work? If so im willing to give it a shot.3X00-Modified wrote:

Re: Where to find Eibach Springs for my 94??
really? my pn's arent the same, i'll look and see what the pn's are, but iirc, they werent the same, and the only other thing ive noticed is the front of the quad sits a tad bit higher then the back, but i robbed the eibachs from my 94 v6 sunbird, so they may be set up for a v6....

Re: Where to find Eibach Springs for my 94??
Front always appears higher than the rear, wheel gap wise.
Summitbalt, I found the springs for the older models somewhere.
I guess I was wrong... they do not list them for the older Cavi's on their website. Maybe its similar to how you found the Beretta listed but they had none left... Worth a shot calling some places if they list the J-body because the quantity of parts made might have been higher leaving some places with left over stock.
Also Speedy, aftermarket springs for our application were not "setup" for a v6 or a quad... they were all the same since Eibach on their website groups 4 & 6 Cyl together... notice the S10 is seperate for 4cyl vs 6cyl if you search.

I would definately call about that one... It says individually way too much on that description to sound like a spring KIT....
