90 Indy Sticker question

Post by indyyellow »

I am seeing on the net searching for info on the 90 Indy replica pace car that while most have the HUGE azz pink indy sticker on the doors that there are a few that do not have it (only on the Yellow cars). Can anyone explain this? I have searched the net but can not find an explaination for this.

Indy's came with the small Indy on the door. The big Indy was a dealer option they came in the trunk of the car. Most Indy's had the 500 stickers, rear bumper sticker, and Beretta windshield banner and small Indy stickers on the car. It was up to the dealer or buyer to decided if the big Indy was put on, all insrtuctions were in the bag in the trunk with all decals.

It was my understanding that ALL of the decals were in a bag in the trunk. When they were shipped to dealers there were none on the car at all.

Yes, but most dealers put on the 500's and the windshield banner. The rear Indy was standard. And all the new ones we saw had the small Indy on the door.

The original fender stickers are Yellow or Teal Green specific and very rare. I have a set for Yellow.

OEM "Yellow" Indianapolis fender Decals. These are not the ones from the packet that fit the door.

More like American Pickers for auto parts. I do actually have things people want. Your all welcome to the new shop. My home is rather clean and parts free these days.

Timing covers, Oil pump, water pump, gaskets, mounts, ..top of my head. Quad 4 FE7 bar(different then v6) Quad 4 Z26 instrument clusters..also GTZ's.

Some things for sale...others ..for the right price.
