MAF Sensor

Post by delfs »

I have a 1996 Beretta z26 and i was wondering how important the MAF sensor is and if there is anyway to bypass it if it is.. I want to put cold air on it but the sensor is right on the air filter box so i dunno if i can just slap a cone filter on that and take that out or what

Its used to determine the fueling for the engine, no you can not bypass it. Period.

can you buy a sensor that hooks up to a custom intake instead of the air filter box or no?
