Thats a false statement... There are tons of things that move around and can get pinched and over time or melt and begin to cause a problem.

I also agree with ACE... He's already swapped ECM's

Seeing he just did a motor swap thats why I'm leaing toward something a miss with the injector harness, or wiring leading to the injectors.

Same with your car, but I'm not pointing directly at the injectors since I'm not sure what other symptoms yours has as far as how it wont start and what it will do if ether is used.

I gave up on it Sunday afternoon after spending WAY too much time on it and not on my kids who made the trip from Salt Lake to hang with their dad for part of their spring break...so i haven't touched it since. My kiddo's go back tomorrow afternoon and i will dive back into it probably thursday after work.

I appreciate all of the comments/feedback. I am now leaning toward a wiring issue because 1) i want to rule out ALL possibilities and 2) i have a hard time believing two ECM's have the same problem.

I missed where you said you had already swapped ECM's. Have fun wire tracing! :P

Ok...went through the wiring...wiring is solid. Traced everything from the computer to the injectors...and wouldn't you know that i have one that is shorted. And i think this is my culprit. Four of the injectors ohmed at 12.7 ohms, one right at 13 and one that was 1.8. Reading up on the Multec I injectors, they love to short out...and if it did, i bet it shorted the entire injector control circuit so that none of the injectors could pulse.

SO...getting a good replacement, putting everything back together, and seeing what happens. My bet...it fires right up (unless the shorted circuit is now no good in the ECM).

Keep your fingers crossed guys...mine are!!! :D

I can't tell you how many injectors I had that happen with on my 2.8s. Usually the problem would go away when it was cold, or you could run the heater full blast and sometimes not have it stall.

Re: HELP!!! It won't start...UPDATED 5/8

One bad injector messed up the entire circuit. Found a good set in the yard that all came it at 13 ohms and looked like they had just been replaced not all that long ago...put them and and FIRE...it ran!!!

But now that brings me to my new problem...car will run up to operating temp and then die. It will restart and run for a few seconds and then stumble and die. And will repeat until it colls down from operating temp where it will run, and run great, right up to operating temp and die. It is not the ECM - this is the first thing i swapped and it does the same thing on both ECM's that i ran. About the only thing that didn't get replaced with the no start issue was the ICM...everything else is new.

Sounds like an ICM or Coil Pack showing it's no good when it gets warm. Get them tested.
