Looking good.
That was last year... Plan A was the stock rebuild... got 13.9's on it N/A... Plan B was the Raybestos clutches and a few other shift mods with valve upgrades and such, BUT when I did that trans I f-ed up the input and 2nd clutch pack and cooked the input clutches.. so that turned into Plan C when I had to rebuild it 5 miles after I installed it... LOL...

This year I just wrote the "12's Really?" on it... haha

And yeah did all this with a nasty head cold the past two days... I'm hoping that this is not pneumonia coming back otherwise I'll be ripping pissed.

I also have to say this was the EASIEST install when it comes to trans this year... My father inlaw bought a trans jack so we could get the Subie monster back in after doing my clutch, and with the hoist I was able to hold the motor up and not need a jackstand right below the motor and in the way, OR a strut bar with 12 Zip ties... LMAO... I just lined it up using the tilt knobs, and clunk it fell right on the motor, it was insaine...

.
haha relabeled the trans again. yeah no exhaust would have been retarded loud especially at that time of night.

i need one of those transmission jacks. yeah that subaru setup is big when it's all assembled.

pneumonia would suck. i'd go back to the doctor you've had this for awhile haven't you.

The head cold just started a few days ago, but I'm going to have my mom listen to my breathing today to check on it. And as noted that C label was done last year, not this year.

That is a nice color on the headers, what's the name of it? I've got like 1 season left before I need to think about taking mine off and having some work done on them - I just don't like the idea of leaving the header wrap on the antiques for much longer.

You could make you tranny Plan C1, then future revisions could be C1.01 and such. If you stay on going 1 letter at a time you may eventually wind up at F, which I think is short for Five speed. ;) (i kid, i kid)

Yes its Cast Iron color, and I did not do the clear top coat yet, I opted to bake them on the car since trying to find an oven large enough that would get hot enough was near impossible. I will pull them later if I feel that I want to top clear them. But right now I just want the damn car moving.

A few more bay pics since it's getting close to moving... FINALLY

Bleed the brakes, swaybar, and a few items in the interior and the hood and I can drive it to work! Then to just re-install all the nitrous goodies.

I didn't finish routing it yet. Still gotta hook up fog relay and such and leaving that pipe out of the way makes it much easier...

Just mounted the hood and took it for a quick spin... damn I missed that car and the new front diff feels like a friken locker! So much happier with that. I brought it back and buttoned up the heater core box.. I'll finish up the rest tomorrow maybe an then just need a quick alignment to hold me over till I bring it somewhere. Only the toe should be off since I did the tierod ends.

I don't install it when the car is on jackstands. I wait till the car is 100% level on the ground before I go bolting that in solid. I also need to paint it. On the fence about keeping it black and hidden somewhat, or painting it gray.

I'm already going to re-paint the upper mount cover back to black since I do not like how it came out being gray with the mount aluminum gray right next to it... it was too much gray right there.

I think a black mount cover would look better too. I love gray, but that gray you use just has a weird blueish tint.
