project 4444z, questions, pg5. wiring help...

Post by speedy »

well guys, here it is, project 4444z, needs some work, brakes are spungy, work, but they are spongey, needs the interior redone, and a little tlc around the edges, it runs good, changing the oil tomorrow along with some other things i ordered, just waiting for the parts to come in, heres some pictures, i still havent taken any of my own, but i have some from the guy i purchased it from who purchased it from penfold who bought it from mike(illusion, engraym) a long time ago, ive been trying to figure out what mike did to it, but i have to find a way to contact him first. so to some of you, this car will be familiar. anyways, here she is.

gotta love our tow vehicle, we went 300 miles one way to buffalo new york for this car, imagine that at $4 a gallon. i dont know what i spent in gas, and i dont much care to think about it...

and lastly, got the ol brm z out of the garage on her way to her final resting place, if anyone would like to purchase the car as it sits, no engine or trans, please send me a pm. else i'll strip her down.

Well if you want a '91 GTZ you got one. I had a long look at this car a couple of years ago and walked away. It's ROUGH! At least it was back then.

But if the price was right (read: almost nothing over $750) good luck with it.

I'm glad I spent the $400 to fly to California for a no rust, original car.

'92 3500 GT gone and not really missed. It was fun. Documented 13.47 N/A.

So, what am I missing with the BRM Z that you would junk it? Especially being as rare as it is? The body and interior, suspension etc, are fine? Why the hell then, would you scrap it??

Sell it to someone else cheap who has the driveline for it!

buy it! brm body has a few dents here and there, nothing on the quarter panels or anything, could be fixed, yeah, needs some interior tlc, and it has your typical door jam rust, i live in the rust belt so i didnt expect not to find that... otherwise, it isnt to bad, but who wants a quad car with no engine or trans, and for as hard as it is to find a 3.94 trans and ho motor, theres no way im letting that go.

asylum, yeah, the car is still rough, but it can be fixed, just needs tlc, and some more tlc.

cant wait to change the oil, get my new sensor in, and play around with this bad boy...

He's picky... its not the car he WANTED... so rarity aside he will just get rid of it now that he has his 91 GTZ

Hey, it's purple...I say good riddance! (I'd keep the dash and the steering wheel before you scrap it though) haha

The GTZ has potential. Let's see what it turns in to.

so i should replace the rubber lines???

its weird, we'll bleed the entire system, all 4 bleeders, then the pedal will be fine untill you start the car, then it just drops to the floor and has a spongy feel... anyone have any suggestions??
