hey yall .... i posted a while back about a cluch fork shaft issue . Well now i have a much bigger problem... I finally got all my parts , bout to put the retta back together when i found two small cracks in the passage ? maybe its called a boss? ( the hole that the clutch fork shaft slides through and sticks out the case)
trans shop says it cant be welded ... so now im lost ... anyone know what i can do to fix this.???

Please help ! :( trying to post pics but having login issues ....

Thanks

How bad are the cracks?

Almost anything is weldable - it just depends on the skills of whoever will be doing the welding.

Or Boring it out and sleeving the boss also come to mind....

We need higher res for sure. I know the area and to me I'd think it's weldable.

Do you have any higher resolution? Maybe my eyes are getting weak, but I can't see the crack(s)... :(

I had my old one welded before with no problems. Had a metalworking shop do it.
