Let me introduce myself
Well, I've been registered on this forum for a short while now and figured that I would take the time for a formal introduction. My name is Seth and I live in Wisconsin. I'm currently 17 and graduating with the class of 2012. I first got into Berettas not all that long ago. I picked up an 89' off Craigslist on Good Friday. I instantly fell in love with the car. The original owner was an elderly woman who lived in Florida, but spent her summers in good ol' Wisconsin. The car was used at the cabin and has been stored in a garage since she bought in new in 89. The car like i stated before is an 89' GT with 78k original miles. Since i bought it 2-3 weeks ago I have not done much, threw on some Eagle Alloys i got for stupid cheap from a friend who had them on his Cavi'. I've Seafoamed it changed the oil and ran it. Plans for this Summer I hope to preserve the car. I am going to clean and undercoat the car to keep the absolutely rust free car that way. I am going to delete the trim and white out the car. I hope to get 1.6" lowering springs and get her put into a mild show car status.

I like it the way it is. There is alot of hard to find parts on that car that are in great shape. Many of us have spent years looking for good parts.
Welcome to Bnet! Great find.

Clean car man! Glad the car found you and that you found this place!
Dash looks pretty mint, so that's one awesome thing to have going for you.
Keep us updated for sure.
PS - got any engine bay shots?

Looks to be in great condition, and your plans sound good. Needs a stock spoiler.

Re: Let me introduce myself
It's just that I like the body to stay stock when it looks as good as yours does. Everything else is fair game.

Re: Let me introduce myself
Well its close to my 88 almost a twin lol. nice car. i would suggest not undercoating it but have it oil sprayed.. undercoating will still hold moisture between it and still rust. oil spray for the WIN.
For the dash cracking, i fiber-glassed mine. im not a pro by any means but i have always played around with stuff and it turned out pretty decent, needs to be touched up and painted still but i had to get it back in so i could drive it. takes A LOT of time and patients but will never crack again and can be painted what ever color you want.
