3800 Series III Turbo...
...in the making!!
it has been a while
With the help of a some good friends I was able to pull out the engine out clean and ghetto prime the subframe within two days (actually 16hrs thanks to spring break) ...
Westcoastfiero is unfortunately VERY busy so space and time is limited...Chris West agreed cut me in: going to help do a nice set of turbo headers with marman clamps (sp) depending on when that can be finished I plan to rewire the car some...I was running into several issues with the old wiring I think I am confident enough to pull this off...School and work will be the major factor...
Over the next few weeks (hopefully) I can put this together I have just finished a custom turbo (myself) had it balanced so I will see how that will turn out compared to my old TQ monster I am doing this for more midrange-topend feel...
Also I have been debating a camshaft but with the stock heads...I am not sure...

No the S2 turbo setup has been sold...I am currently trying to decide if I want to use the 4t60-e, a 65e or the 80e...
Come to think about it...I think I have an account with PB.com, thanks!!

Just weighed the 80e tranny...this thing is about 280lb dry without axles...that is very surprising!!
Anyhowz turbo spec'd to a t04S
.70 cold side and .70 hot side
58mm comp wheel and a p-trim on the hotside
will potentially flow up to 55lb/min air...

And here is the tranny I am still thinking of using...I want to weigh the advantages vs the disadvantages before delving into this drivetrain
