ignition (key tumbler)
This goes out to whoever can help me,
i have just recently picked up my first beretta its a 1990 GTZ 2.3L quad cam, the car was a stolen recovery.
i am trying to replace it but am having troubles removing whats left of the key tumbler?? i have the haynes repair manual and its says if you have tilt steering you need to take it into a shop because of a special tool. is there a way to do it without taking it into a shop?
i have taken the steering wheel apart and dropped the steering column but cannot take the ignition out, i am stumped any help would be great :S

ignition (key tumbler)
There is a screw holding the lock cylinder in that is located behind the spring for the tilt. They say you need a special tool to get the spring out without damaging you or the car. I have taken it out with the spring still in but it's a PITA.
