OK I talked to the hotel and they have apparently straightened out the nonsence.
Got my room and confirmation number.
Girl said they had LOTS of rooms.

1. Don't wait until the last minute people!!!
2. I thought you weren't even coming Ron...
3. Barb, you could have reached out to any of us for the hotel address. I am aware of the "top secret" policy when it comes to giving that information out, but C'mon man... it's you and Eric!
4. Mr. Pride as well as many others are very busy not only trying to set up BFest 2011 but living their own lives as well. Many of you have no idea what it takes to solidify an event of this magnitude...
5. You had better call the hotel again!!! Sure, Mr. Pride may hold all the cards here as he is the event organizer, but you can't expect him to solve every problem single handedly... Call the hotel and ask about the rooms. Don't forget to mention the BFest group deal. If you get a negative Nancy response, politely ask them to take your name and let you know if any rooms open up. You can also politley mention that our rooms were to be open to us until May 30th, and yet they were closed to us as of the 26th, or whenever we/they started having issues. Again... politely.
6. I'm sure it's not the end of the world here. Maybe Chad can trailer a motorhome instead of his GTU...
7. Good luck!

I just got a call back from the hotel.

All they have left in our block are single Queens at $75/night

If anyone wants to share a room with me your more than welcome too I can bring and air matress if you dont have one. Or if a couple people want to share thats fine just bring an air matress.

I have it from Wed-Sun, not sure If I'm going down on Wed or not but reserved it just in case.

Keep in mind I was away for the long weekend guys! :D

I just called the hotel about an hour ago and there were still rooms available. I didn't ask how many of which kind though...

In response to the notification email saying the 23rd... Originally they were going to cut us off at that time, but we called back later and got it extended. This probably lead to the confusion with their inventory as well, but that is just speculation. I overlooked the date stamped on the form response email going out.

Either way - if you haven't already.... CALL THEM NOW! You should still be able to squeeze in.

I tried registering the other week but my Paypal was screwed up and it wouldn't allow a mailed payment.

I'm sure they'd let a veteran member like you pay at the fest. just email them and let them know. you might not be able to get a shirt though.

Yeah i called the sale manager there too and she told the same thing about the single queens. However, she emailed me and told me they are getting the doubles looked at and was going to squeeze me, Sara, Chad and possibly someone else in for the double beds rooms.

Yea if I can get a double I told her I'd take it but I took a single queen for now just to have a room.

Erich, as with every other year we are going to accept late registrants. Availability to the hotel (an soon the shirts) will be limited of course. Send me an email to the bfest@beretta.net email and we will get something worked out ASAP.

Yeah i called the hotel and locked in a room for me and anyone else that might need one. Its a single room, but a room nonetheless. If things change when i get there i may be able to get a double bed room, but we will see when i get there. Either way, i have a room locked in for myself.

I know there were some questions about wether or not the hotel had a pool or not.

I called and they do have an Indoor pool and they are not sure why it is not listed on their website!

So bring your swimsuits!

Awesome news!!! No more redneck tarp pool in the bed of Chad's truck! LMAO
Mostly you meet friends when traveling by accident, like by sitting next to them on the train, or in a restaurant, or in a holding cell.

Hotel issues have been resolved, if there is anything else you wish to talk about pertaining to the hotel start a topic in the General Section.
