Ugh....I hate the blue/yellow combination that's popular with all those Jap cars. Tiff's brother did the same thing.

Don't hate guys... lol...

Jon, you forgot one key thing about the Legacy guys; most of them pay a shop to put stuff on for them. They don't know what being resourceful is like! Is that the Grimmspeed up-pipe?

I've got to get some 3K HID's for my fogs... damn cheap ass bulbs burnt out already.

You are correct on that one Geoff... I think I'm still going to be told I'm hacking my car or ricing it due to using cheaper parts. Oh well.

Thats a FAST Motorsports header/up combo I bought off of someone... I think they are all the same E-bay or Overseas M2 performance parts and not made by anyone in the US. All the parts have distinct marks to prove that as well. Fast wants $99 for an UP, you can get the exact same thing on e-bay for $40 shipped... All they do is put Thermal dispersant coating on it. But they don't prep the polished stainless so it just peels off.

Take a look at the pic of the FAST part and then a pic of the ebay up pipe.

One thing to note, you can't use a factory up pipe gasket, you need to get a Vibrant Performance 2.5" gasket for that since the stock one is less that 2" diameter and if you install it with that gasket and stock manifolds, you will never crush the fire ring so it will leak, The guy I got the headers from was trying to use one between the headers and up... The damn gasket was smaller in diameter than the collector out, so it was a restriction and wasn't sealing. I have stock gaskets for the down pipe, the up to turbo, and the head to headers... and I'm using Vibrant on the headers to up, and then using whatever gaskets came with the "test pipe" They don't have a fire ring so they may blow out quick, but we'll see, If they do I'll just get a Vibrant 3" one.

And Woody it's not just popular with Jap cars... Its the fact that 5k (correction I don't have the 8K) in a projector housing will rainbow a little so you see some blue hue, Almost all new cars with projectors and HID's look like that. And the yellow is done because its a fact that yellow light works better for a fog application. There are quite a few factory cars that come with almost as much of a color difference as mine, My fogs are exaggerated due to them being HID though I will admit to that.

Coated and installed my 3" catback exhaust and also did a 3" down pipe and mid pipe to delete the cats and open her up, Did a Stage 2 flash and swapped out the brakes and installed a mechanical boost gauge and a PLX wideband O2 sensor.

Sounds like a Subaru and goes like hell now too! LOL

Still gotta re-coat the headers and install that with the up pipe... That will be interesting when done.

I like cars with aftermarket. Both my 240 and my e36 have ebay exhaust parts. There cheap as hell, stainless, and they work perfect. The beretta is all kinds of work and not as clean when im done.

I'll say these parts are cheap as hell, but they don't work perfect... The ones I bought the downpipe mount doesn't reach the trans but it's meant for a WRX 6 speed so that's my issue, I just extended it a bit, also there is no hanger on the center pipe that goes to the back of the trans so I had to make one up quickly... I'll weld it later when I get my stainless welding stuff but for now it's held on with a clamp. also all the flanges for this cat back fit rather tight in some areas, One on the rear to Y pipe should have been turned 180* to clear but I think I'm going to end up just replacing all of them with V-band clamps soon anyways, once again when I get a tri-mix bottle and some 309 wire.

Haha, liking the plate. I'm going to get SPOOLEDU (think of Space Balls when he says "FOOLED YOU!")

What mounts did you go with, group N?

Yeah those are all the Group N ones since I didn't want to go overboard, It still is the Daily driver. I just wanted to stop the motor from moving so much... Unfortunately it lifted the motor which in turn got the exhaust closer to the driveshaft, so now I HAVE to tear it all apart and V-band it all so I can move some of the pipes, but oh well, it will make for a much better system when I'm done.
