1990 Sunroof

On my sons 1990 Indy I suspect the front two latch hold downs that go through the sunroof have bad gaskets/seals, what ever. Only that area between those two hold downs on the front of the sunroof between the over head light to the windshield was wet/damp, the rest of the headliner/board along the top of the windshield was dry.
What can I use to reseal/gasket those two latches up front? I do not think the top of the windshiel there was leaking froma bad gasket because all that area was clean as tac, no trace of water on the seal or on the yellow paint in that area or across the whole top of the windshield for that matter,

They are supposed to have a gasket. You could probably make your own with a sheet of gasket material and a razor.

Is this a factory sunroof? If you are talking about the two mounting tabs (in the glass) that slide into the front, I had a leak there also. I removed the tabs and coated the parts with RTV Silicone before reassembling. Might as well do the tab above the handle while you are at it. Obviously, you need to remove the sunroof to do this.

I have the stuff resealed and mounted no more leaks!
