I have a busy night tonight if my guts agree. Wash wax, try to put some paint on the flakes, get sway bar reinstalled, get under dash reinstalled, (no highbeams, stalk doesn't click) need to polish up the windows on the inside and try to figure out how to drive to Indy and not hit any bugs!

My list seems so small compaired to some of yours lol.

Painters tape the front end if you're that concerned. Or Rex suggested leaving a coat of wax on the front end, but of course you just painted some of it so probably not quite a good idea. You'll be driving between us all anyhow lol!

You can take my bug hits for me! Haha. I only painted the hood and trunk, my dad did the roof while I was at work. It was a quicky so the crap wouldn't rust out. It's all getting redone on car next summer when I pull all the glass out.

I'll probably bring a bucket and wash it again lol.

Most people have buckets and wash once they get there. I'm not washing mine until I get there; the Zaino wax from last year is still holding up great so I'm just gassing and going :)

Sweet. I was pretty sure I wouldn't be the only tool washing his car in a hotel parking lot lol

We typically try to find a decent powerwash near by since bucket washing is a dead deal since I can guarantee you the hotel will not lend you a hose... :)

But yeah I'm gonna do a quick wash to try and get the rubber off the side of the passenger door from last year at the strip, and then vac the interior and clean that up a bit... then pack... All after a birthday dinner with one of Amy's graduating students and then a hair cut... I will hopefully get to bed at a decent hour since I'll be up at 4 getting ready to leave.

Car is running great though so thats awesome... I got the tires balanced again and DAMN nice and smooth at 75 now... It must have been the fact that I balanced brand new tires and they moved or settled more since being mounted so the balance was off... It had always shook since I got them put on so I was worrying it was from my brake upgrade and my spacers or something.

I told you it wasn't the upgrade.

I know but you bought your spacers... I had mine made here where I work... It always makes you wonder when you do something on your own in your own little machine shop. Plus having that vibration ever since I did the brakes and tires just left me wondering.

True... best way to fix that? Buy a CNC machine. Done.

I've got a nice bridgeport in storage, with ball screws and a digi readout. Accurate out to half a thou! (.0005 for those non-machinists %) :D)

But my whole house only has 60 amp service, and the electric company is jerking me around about dropping 200 amp service to the house.

So I cant hook it up..

I'd trust something I made myself more than something I got out of a box!

damn that's not much room to play with electrical wise.

you can send that bridgeport to my house. got plenty of garage space and plenty of room left on the 200 amp panel.

Yeah I'm just going to powerwash, dry and quick detail the car there like last year.

At the Fiero show in the Dells, the hotel gives us a hose, towels and space to wash our cars =). However they do that at the same location every year =P.
