5 speed transmission?

So I'm wanting to do the 5 speed/ V6 swap into my base Beretta and I'm just wondering if the 5 speed tranny out of a cavalier will work in my Beretta?

What year is your car? 87--91 beretta can use 88-94 cavalier v6 trans. Its direct bolt in.

If you car is newer, then you need to weld in mounts. You can use trans from any 2.2 cavalier 88-02(00-02 hasent been done yet) or v6 cavaliers. The v6 cavaliers got a better tranny, the 282.

Yeah its kinda a pain for your car. The swap is simple, just weld in some brackets and bolt it all in. The computer side of things is annoying, theres no easy way around it
