Ah well. Too bad they can't confuse it with a better car, like the camaro Z28.... That NEVER happens.
Lol hey now I like Z24s! In fact I was a J-body guy before an L-body guy. Love 'em both though =).

I have owned 2 cavys... A 1982 and a 1989... I miss the 89 some... Too bad it was a 2.0 liter auto 4 door RS POS. A friend of mine owned the 1988 Z24 with the 2.8/5 speed. That car was badass, loved driving it. His sister had an 1990 or 91 Z24 with the 3.1 but it was Auto. My mother owned a 1985 Cavy and a 1987 Z24. But she also used to own a 1970 Nova too. LOL

Nothing drives like a retta, well the older ones I'm not too into 91+. bought my 88 gtu for 1500 had 100k on it I ended up putting close to 200k on it then my brother drove it until he bought a 90 gtz. Sad thing is the digi dash stopped at 300k so I have no clue how many miles are on the original motor. I just got back from a trip in my 195k 5 speed gtu and it averaged 30.5mpg and fun as hell in the twisty mountain Colorado roads... Also they look Gangster :Yahoo!:

I just like the control that you have while being the driver of one. First off, it takes people a second to find the door handle (especially at night with my BRM). 2nd, the panic look people get when they try to roll down the window and can't find a way to do it. "Do your windows roll down?" I like the selector for the wipers, can always get them just right. And like the others, first car I did a lot of work on. Now that I work at a GM dealer and if it's older than 02' I don't want to mess with it... Yet I still have sleepless nights (like tonight) trying to figure out when I'm going to put the turbo kit on..

Love everything about them. I've had 4 and still have 2. I have a 2010 Mazda3 I bought in March and I just don't have the passion for it. still kills me that I sold my 93 GT to get it. I've only half-@ssed washed the mazda once. The berettas I'll wash every week (when not in the shop). Loved it when the young guy at Merchant's couldn't find the door handle, nor figure out how to roll the window down. New cars just do not pop - nothing has style and class like a beretta.

After reading everything I feel like saying that I like the Beretta so much that I went and bought 4 of them over the last 5-6 years:
was somewhat expensive, but that's why I have a job...lol

1987 from my mom (Had to full rebuild almost everything on it mechanically, engine and transmission included, to be allowed to have it).
1996 from a dealer (some only lady owned it and almost didn't use it, but her doggy did lol). The engine on it eventually cracked, I replaced it with a rebuilt one from advanced auto parts :D
1990 INDY yellow w/ Digital gauges 140,000 miles, the guy I bought it from reminded me of EXACTLY like George Lopez from the TV show. :D (this one eventually got thee 1987's second engine cuz it needed it, the 1987 is no longer drivable, so that worked. I even redid ALL the speakers and added subwoofers 2x12" 500 watt RMS, sounds PRO, very fast, one time I was neck and neck with a V6 mustang (freeway on-ramp w/ 2 lanes both us in front floored it at same time), and his engine was screaming, i could hear it (I still passed him, and I let it peek out at 70-75MPH)...lol Just wait till I install the Performance E-PROM chip I have, and I will need a turbo, but only after I get the money to buy one! :D (FIXED: see next 3 posts as to why...lol) :P
1990 INDY yellow w/Digital gauges 13,400 miles (true miles), mint condition, it was a gift to me for everything I had done, has a sun roof and everything! big stickers on doors, the only thing it is missing is the windshield decal sticker, but I have 2 replacements I will only install after I find a shop who can copy them exactly the way they are (color & shape) so I can install the copy and keep the original because you can not find them anymore...

And, I have like a massive supply of spare pars of almost everything, even for the INDY, including ground effects...

Call me crazy, I love the Beretta! :D lol

Everything sounded great. Then you said turbo eprom chip and something about an electric turbo and I laughed and dropped my phone.

A turbocharger compresses air, an electric turbo is literally just a fan. There is no lesson to be learned if you let common sense take over.

30 wanted dollars vs ? Well spent dollars is still a better deal, no matter how large a number ? turns out to be.

Yah, I didn't know that...lol
we learn something new every day! :D
But when your like me, you have to try it even if it fails at first, and then upgrade...
That's where I come up with the 30 dollars now is better than like 200 or whatever a turbo costs...

I do like my beretta though, no matter how many times I take it apart, swap engines, break something, hit it with a hammer, and idk...

Everyone I know calls me the beretta kid! :D
And everyone likes hearing me talk about Beretta's and stories about doing work on them and me failing at it at times...lol

**Trial and error is best way to learn!

So what you're saying is you won't listen to advice, no matter how much sense it makes?

That makes me laugh but I guess I can respect it. Lol
