92 3.1 gtz auto to manual swap/motor options
I have a 92 gtz that's a red automatic gtz. I want to exercise all options of motor trans and even drive train (rwd conversion). I've had the car since 2004 and its been a plague of issues. Any opinions would be appreciated. I've put more into keeping it running than I did buying it or would make by selling it. I'm open minded, and an rx7 fanatic(85 and 93 shells not running)

Fix your fd because there awesome. Then use the 85 for parts to make the beretta RWD

Turbo Rotary L-Body FTW!
But to answer your question, you can put a 3.4 or 3.5 V6, referred to as the 3400 and 3500, respectively, from a Chevy Impala, Malibu or Pontiac G6 with relative ease in your shell and put in a 5 speed manual from any of V6 cars and will bolt up directly to the motor. In theory, you should also be able to put in a 6-speed manual from a Pontiac G6 to these motors. With those motors with no mods and a good tune you should be in the 180-200HP range.
