EPIC Traffic Gridlock Weekend of DOOM!

Post by Wanako »

This will affect none of you but will probably serve for a few good lulz.

Some may, or may not have heard of the 405 Freeway of Soviet Kalifornia which is notorious for it's mindblowing traffic jams.

Well, here is where it gets better.
Capture.PNG
What you see here is a ten mile section of said freeway between two other MAJOR Interstate Highways, the 10 and the 101. This section will be CLOSED for the demolition of the Mulholland Bridge. It will be closed from the 15th through to the 18th. That is 3 DAYS that one of the most traffic-ridden motorways in the known universe will be closed!! The Los Angeles and Santa Monica Police Departments, Fire Departments and Hospitals are bracing themselves for what is expected to be a MASSIVE impact.

This will be a traffic gridlock of Biblical proportions. It was originally designed to be 11th Plague of Egypt, which was God's trump card had Ramses not released the Jews. It appears C.A.R.B. and the Kalifornia DMV has committed acts that would be seen as sinful and blasphemous before the eyes of the Lord. I live about 5 minutes from here.

Weep for me. Weep for my children...

I hate the country. I abhor it. I'd rather take a weekend of this than live near a vast field of produce, trees and the god-forsaken deer. That's just me though. :D Some people love it and I can dig it but I couldn't survive.

Well when your city is choked in smog and nuclear waste, you can come visit myself and Ted Kaczynski out up here in the woods.

Wait, CARB makes sure there is no smog in Kalifornia.

Wait,

There is no system. Your air pollution is from all the cows. That's not a joke. (suck on that CARB, the average cow belches and farts out more VOC's per day than a car does, and that's science, not something Al Gore made up)

Anyway, I cant stand the city. I'm 15 minutes from anything I want, and I don't have to deal with idiots, my biggest pet peeve.

Heard about it on the news. I'm with you Wanko, I don't want to see another house as far as I can see. By the way the same butt holes that "F"ed up your state came here and did the same. They even went as far as to sue the state to get their way and my state gave in. My state could have made the builders build for earthquakes and the tornados, but let them build pure crap. That would have almost stopped the developers do to fact that no builder would spend that kind of money.

Chad: I know those cows are killing the environment. Because of the damn CARB, many L-bodies with the 2nd Gen V6 (87-93) motors won't be able to pass smog anymore rendering them illegal in California. Yup, my time is drawing near.

They aren't killing the environment, neither are cars, which is my point.
