Welcome to the world of owning a 23 year old car. Sounds like you are well on your way. At least parts are still readily available for our cars. Keep us posted.

Lol, yeah, right. It ran good after i put a 3.1 in..then two months ago i put a new tranny in...but using it as a daily driver instead of just a weekend car its like "ha screw you owner, no, screw youuuu" lol

Bump.

Today was able to come back to town from work to get my paycheck (YAY) and went and bought 6 injectors, Fuel regulator, O2 sensor, and a Cam sensor (just cause). Put it all in, it's back to its smooth running, ready to kick some ass self. Happy, granted ill never see that money back out of it but oh well, atleast i know its my time and money that went into it.

Spoke to soon! Dammit!

Well now its having this fit where itll run and drive nice but the second you stop its has a nasty idle as in itll jump around between 500-1250rpm. Put it in neutral or park and itll come out of it and behave. Replaced the crank sensor as thats what caused this issue once before..very little positive results.

And i noticed when it wouldnt start after the sensor got put in ( wasnt plugged in all the way) i pressed in that little valve on the fuel rail and instead of gas squirting at my eyes it barely oozed out with the key on. So maybe the 23 year old fuel pump is just getting so weak that its the reason?

Idk i hate this car so much that i love it.

Sounds like a fuel pump or possibly clogged line, but most likely a pump issue. Might want to try replacing the filter first though, just in case. You may as well change it, since its best to change it if you put a pump in it anyhow. lol

UGH. FIlter is new(ish) too! 5/25/10 is what i wrote on it. I ve dumped more money into the little bitch in the last 3 months than i have in the last 3 years lol. And also now that i think of it if i fill the tank allll the way up it acts up, then when i gets to a half tank its acts up. I get a whole half tank to enjoy then it goes to crap. Ive been getting asked if ill sell it, im starting to wish i would. Lol.
