bought another GTZ. yes, another one...

Post by speedy »

yesterday i went down to look at another beretta gtz that needed some tlc, the car belonged to an old member of bstuff, maybe some of you will recognize the car when i put up pics put i doubt it.... it has air ride suspension in the back and used to have it up front(working on either replacing it again, or swapping it all out for eibachs) and its a 91, white, 3.1 auto, pics to come later, but now i own 2 gtz's, both 91's, both white, one quad, one v6, i got the best of both worlds... =p

no, its actually got air bags, i think its kinda cool though now that i played with them, he took the fronts out though, if he still has the fronts i'll put them back in, but if not, i'll probably take them completly out and throw my eibachs on it.

and 3400, idk yet what im going to do, i might just leave it alone, i always liked the 3.1mpfi over the 3100 and 3400, i know its the same block, but i never had issues with the mpfi, however, down the road if i come across a v6 5 speed in the junkyard, i might be tempted to 3400 5 speed it, a 3500 would be cool, but after watching barry kill trans after trans... id rather stay away from it, to much torque and power for our little transmissions.

Well the 3.1 and 3100/3400 aren't exactly the same block wise, but similar yes. As far as killing trans after trans if you ask Barry he has supposedly never killed his trans or even had to rebuild it hence why it make so much of a rattle noise... But then again your comparing yourself to someone who pushes his car to the limit all the time. Not everyone is like that.

You're not gonna break a 282 unless you do 20min peg leg burnouts.

Screw the MPFI engines too...flat tappet cam and stamped rockers? No thank you. Full roller 3x00 = win.
