(Amy typing)
I haven’t put anything up here in a while, so here is an update…
• Motel contract is in place…feel free to call and reserve your room ($99.99/night) as part of the “BerettaFest Groupâ€. Their phone number is 1-603-332-3350. Our rooms are blocked until August 31. Keep in mind, our dates of September 29 – October 2 are during the beginning of foliage season, which means they could end up completely full. Also, most, if not all, rooms are double queens. And they do allow pets (Dozer?), but you need to tell them that when you call.
• Tee Shirts are in progress. I am meeting with a Graphics/Screen Printing guy on Tuesday. Prices look good…between $12-15.50~ish. I’m working on details.
• Because we are trying to do the BBQ & tees, we are setting up a registration. (The restaurant/mountain require a deposit and minimum guests for the BBQ, etc, so I want to make sure people are really ‘yes’ when they say ‘yes’ before I commit to the place. Same thing for shirts…screen prep, minimum orders, etc…). Of course, if things fall through on the BBQ, that $ will be refunded and other lunch plans will be in the works for that day. Tee shirts shouldn’t fall through, but Jon and I don’t need 15 of the same shirt in all different sizes…
I’m gonna take a minute and plug that BBQ…again…for those of you who missed it the first time or are undecided. For $12 plus tax and tip (~$14 pp) we can have a complete BBQ made for us. No prep, no cooking, no cleaning… just eating and enjoying. Our other options that day would be pack-your-own, a snack concession stand, or another restaurant as a group. The day is set up so that we tour a little NH town, drive to the top of Mt. Washington, have a late-lunch/early dinner, then do a rally on the way back to the hotel, so we really need to keep everyone together for lunch, so everyone can leave to do the rally accordingly. At the same time, I don’t want to force anyone into something there is no interest in.
The registration should be up Wednesday of next week and should include all the tee shirt stuff too, so keep an eye out for it!

Re: BerettaFest NE New Hampshire 2011
Registration closes on August 31st...
We need everyone registered by then to secure the BBQ... If we do not have a total head count of 20 individuals unfortunately we can not do the BBQ. So don't delay registering otherwise we will miss out on that opportunity!
Register now so we know how it will turn out and you can pay later but PAYMENT IS DUE BEFORE the 31st of August, If you register and don't pay for the BBQ then we can not count you as attending it. If we do not receive enough people to do the BBQ those who paid already will be refunded the money for it, obviously.
