Ok.. time for actual pics of my car, that other gtz was one I found but the guy never responded to my messages wanting to buy...

...
... so the first set is my first one, blew her engine after 180k because it lost oil/seized and it had to be junked..

1989 Beretta GT (white stripes plus red paint re-done by me to look better) RIP *this is the only pic left of it*:

1990 Indy - I lived in this car, it's a very sad story.. that car gave me everything it had, a shelter when I was homeless, it leaked everything but kept giving it all until 225k...it eventually rusted out and needed so much care, I had to put her down and that was a HARD HARD decsion.. I kept A LOT of parts from her though.. maybe someday I'll get another Indy 5/spd.. here it is:

stay tuned for my newest beretta and my project/current pride and joy.. you will never ever see me sell this car, you'd have to pry the keys from my dead cold hands before I'd give this one up.. I washed it with soap and then again with a claybar solution and waxed + rain-x-ed the whole car... These pics are taken later on that day just for you guys, and I haven't had updated pics since I bought her last summer....

thanks for the feedback, and no woody thats actually original paint... hard to believe but I found this GTZ on CL for $1000, and I HAD to have it.. so I worked out a deal and bought it.. I am the 3rd owner, the first owner garaged it until it was sold in 2004, so it never saw a winter until winter 2004. It has original paint, I have the receipts from the dealer it came from, plus a complete garage and repair history filed that was given to me on purchase.. The guy who had it next (2nd owner) wasnt as nice to it as the first guy, but it was still in great shape when I got it.. although he knew the gaskets were going and I didn't.. so when I bought it, a year later I had the head gaskets re-done and had the whole car examined, timing chain, pulleys, etc. to ensure it would last. The OD reads about 110,800 miles on it, and it had about 104k when I purchased it... head gaskets or not, I knew he was asking way lower than the value (at least in this community) so I bought it and it's my baby.. problem is it's my only car so I have to drive it, which is fun but I don't like using it so much.. so I'm hoping to eventually find another (GTZ ;) lol) beretta hopefully for daily driving.. I'm hoping I get my hands on one with the slightly better 5th gear but I am not picky.. for a 21 year old car this thing whips other cars in performance.. they were way ahead of their time and quite frankly, I am now quite addicted to that awesome Oldsmobile quad four h/o.. :) any other questions, I would love to answer them and thanks for the compliments... now onto a new exhaust.. lol

You got a hell of a deal on that GTZ! I can't belive you got that for a grand, in that shape, and the mileage is quite low too. It looks great!

Here's my Quad Z (and my first Beretta), I bought it for $400 in November of 2009 from another member on here that was NEVER going to do anything with it. It was gross inside and out top to bottom, quite a few parts were missing, many many parts were trash and it smelled like a swamp! Oh, it hadn't ran for 7 years due to a couple spun rod bearings! It had 104,000 miles on it when I bought it, and I have put 10,000 miles on it since completed with no issues at all (except the original exhaust from 1994 has recently gotten noisy)! The car is a rust free WISCONSIN car and it's my year-round daily driver currently! 100% of the work on the car has been performed by me, myself, and I!!! :good: Damn near everything on this car is new, replaced with good used, or reconditioned by me. I took it to it's first car show a couple months ago and took home a shiny trophy, YAY! Enjoy! :D
