Re: 1996 Mr.Pink
The 4oz only is part of my issue... I thought it was going to be enough but obviously stretched it too thin and it baked right off... No biggie... I'll just get two bottles this time, and I'm not so sure if I even want to keep the cast iron yet... Although I never did get to put the clear top coat on it yet so I don't know what it looks like with that.

Re: 1996 Mr.Pink
They all change color drastically when baked on. Mine did quite a bit, but I think they still look good and if the colorguard top coat actually does bring back a shine to them and STAYS that way then I think they will still look good with the cast iron color.
Got an email today about having my impeller swapped out for a more mid rage type not all high RPM and a new high stall stator installed in my PDQ converter... looking forward to getting that back to see how the stall works out.
Maybe I'll be putting down enough torque to start breaking axles... LOL not that I really want to.

Well if you didn't send your parts to west coast fiero you should get everything back.LOL
I picked up a extra set of axles last weekend while i was pulling shift cables.
Guess it's good to have a extra set if i break one at epping=]

Re: 1996 Mr.Pink
lol, Thanks Mike
Just spoke with PDQ yesterday and they are shipping my converter out 2nd day air since the f-ed up the pick up date for the original fedex call tag I sent them... Now I'm getting the work done to the converter for free and only paying for the return shipping... Not that bad. Should have it by friday to slap in there and then going to a car show Sunday with it... First time with my display board that Amy made up so that will be cool since most just look at it and they don't get it... This way it explains whats done and what it's done.
Also hitting up the JY for the first time in probably years today... Need to get a RF control arm and the bolt since no one seems to have that on here. And who knows what else I'll grab while I'm there... Maybe I'll find a nice 4t65eHD to play with

Re: 1996 Mr.Pink
Long overdue for an update.... But I've been working on Roberts car since October... lol
Nothing has been done since the TQ being swapped, Still not happy with it after going to Epping's last weekend runs, I'm moving to a different company and a completely new converter over the winter, Also bought the DR's on 60*, Hoosier this year and 16" rims instead of the 17's
Other than that just coating the headers again and I think thats about it for next year, other than some engine bay touch up paint as well.

Did you run the new hoosiers at the strip?
How did you like them?

Join the club. Been doing truck stuff, house stuff & wedding stuff...no Beretta stuff. Although I really want to work on the Camaro and not the Beretta. There's a 73 in this month's Camaro Performers that may be the best looking Camaro I've ever seen...and it's got me fired up!
