are any cavalier parts interchangeable with berettas?

Post by themadness »

i ran across a guy who is parting out a 96 cav and is selling parts dirt cheap. is there anything like relays, wiring, fuses, bulbs, etc that may be compatible?

Headlight bulbs are the same.

Fuses i think are the smaller ones but some may be interchangable. Not sure on the relays but I don't think so.

Various bulbs in the lights may be similar. I know the sunfires use 194's in the sidemarkers, but the cavi doesnt have sidemarkers like the sunfire.

You could use the rear view mirror but chances are your stock beretta mirror is better.

Speakers are interchangable. More worth it if the cavi has aftermarket speakers.

The engine mount, or at least the insert, is the same as the newer berettas. If it's the aftermarket poly insert it may be worth it. Chances are its just worn out though so not worth the time.

Couldn't tell you if the alt or any of the engine sensors are the same.

The wheels are interchangable (same bolt pattern).

That's all I can think of at 1 am, there may be more.

The radio you may be able to get to work, but I am not sure. You'd get better quality out of an aftermarket or newer unit though.

No on the dew strips. I mean you can try but the doors are set up differently. If they did work that would be amazing cause It would sure make them a lot more available to us.

I think the air filter is interchangable, but that would only be worth it if its new.

The HVAC knobs may fit but I think they are slightly large.

Nothing else is coming to mind at the moment.
