Berettafest Shirts

Post by Chad91GTZ »

I guess this question is more for Paul, but who makes the shirts? I've worn mine maybe 5 times, turned it inside out when washing and line dried it, and its falling apart already.

Have we ever thought of getting an account with Cafepress? I'd like a Beretta.net coffee mug and keychain, and they do shirts obviously too.

Shirts have been handled by Paul for a long time, I believe he was getting a deal from the guy at one point but that may be up in the air for 2012

The quality was seriously poor in my opinion. That's why I brought it up.

My Bfest 2010 shirt looks like crap already too, and it hasn't been worn much.

Chad, I still have that 2011 one sitting here for ya, you might have to frame it to keep it nice though! lol

I have 2 of the 2010, and they both are perfectly fine. And I have worn them probably 10 times already... Not sure what the problem is..

I've got 2007 shirts that are still fine, id say your mileage may vary on any fabric though since washing method, water hardness, and general handling would be a factor.

People tend to forget that your water in your area will have a very large effect on your laundry and the life of it.

I just want a shirt that is not a huge plastic sticker on the back... screen printing may be a bit more expensive but the breathe!

Damnit will you beat me to it on the water comment...

My water is fine. I have an Ezwater installed. It wasn't cheap. Again, I turn it inside out and line dry it. The 'sticker' as Jon correctly called it is my problem. It's peeling off. I screen printed in high school. It would a much better option.

I'm not asking for monogramed towels lol.

EZwater does nothing to prevent the minerals in the water from effecting your clothes, it just prevents the buildup in your pipes, holding tanks and pumps.

best drying option is tumble dry with no heat for printed shirts, line drying can be an issue in direct sunlight and wind

Yes it does. I have a filter, softener, neutralizer and RO system. The wash water hits everything but the RO which is only in the kitchen.

And for the record, the clothes line is in the laundry room. :/ I don't have a problem with my hundreds of other T shirts.

The EZwater system its self is a frequency modulator essentially, the other portions you did not mention so... shame on you.

as I said earlier though, as far as I know a new vendor is being looked at for 2012

Should have said "ezwater system" as it all came from the same place. I just wanted my observations about the longevity of the t shirt to be heard.

It's not my laundry system or wearing habits, just putting that on the table again, its the shirt. Lol
