Check rock auto to see if they list one for your year if its not a 94-96.

Does it work fine now? You already don't have a working AC system... That should answer your question.

The ac works its just the compressor clutch is bad and its almosy the same price as a brand new compressor which i cant afford so im wondering if the defroster will work without it.

The defroster uses the ac system to remove moisture from the air.

Will it blow warm air on your windshield, yes. Will it work properly and efficiently as intended? No.

very common if you are used to older 'used' vehicles, that 'used to have' a/c... you'll just have to open your windows to equalize the temp in and out around the windshield (and give it time to clear before you drive), or wipe the haze off with a cloth and deal with the streaks that causes later...
4th one's a charm, 5th one is, beginnning to sound like this is an addiction...

Explain to me how the AC works but its got a bad clutch? Or is just the bearing bad? If so you can replace a bearing for $15

As of last night the compressor started sparking and producing a nasty burn smell. Bought a bypass pulley today and is in the shop getting put on. Compressor finally gave out last night leaving work lol
