this is kinda open ended and everyone will have their own opinion. whats the most important aspect of getting top performance out of your car. a clean engine, lubricants, air flow, fuel grades, etc etc???

Flow is the most crucial part of any top end on any engine.

LUBRICATION. not the greatest gas in your car might make it run funny, but not so good or low oil or trans fluid is asking for a rod through the pan. in fact my '93 is running on 4 year old gas, simply because it wont make it to a gas station and gas from a about to be junked car is free.
