Is this a turbo design or are you staying N/A? Cause Barry is selling a pair of N/A headers that are ready to go...

The headers he is making are a much better design; flow and equalizing wise than the ones that Barry is selling. IIRC he is going for equal length and matched cylinders to encourage the best scavenging possible.

Kinda like Bob442 on 60*
180* waste spark long tube headers, they have been mocked up in the car with a empty block and trans, so they should fit with barly any clearance of the master, about 1 1/2"-2", but i can change that, I cant completely finish them till the block is back together, heads are torqued down, and more permanate spot welds are done. Here is there progress:

He is the one that inspired me to give this a try. I'll probably build the first set out of mild steel. Then after figuring that out, I could build a jig to build another set in SS rather easily.

It'll be my first attempt at headers, and I've got the whole long winter ahead to figure them out. So hopefully it works out. I don't think the biggest problem will be room, but keeping the headers from melting things that they will be near. Might try to re-use some of the factory manifold's heat shielding in certain areas.

Ordered some tubing today. Figured I'd also throw up a clip of the car that started it all...

Apparently I can't just embed it, so here is the link...

Awesome!! There are Fieros too! I saw 3 Corsicas (one Hatchback!) when I was in Taiwan for only 1 week. I was soo surprised that I only believed it when I spotted the 2. one. I bet they've got Berettas too.

They even have Cavaliers over there. They were marketed as a Toyota, but they are there. If they have Corsicas, I would hope they have Berettas too. I mean, it is the better looking of the siblings...

Some tubing that arrived yesterday, thats some quick delivery. Still waiting on the flanges though. Received an emal stating they shipped on the 23rd, so should be here monday would be my guess. Wednseday starts my vacation. So these might get a lot of attention in just a few short days. I also think I've decided to pull the heads. Which is goin to cause me to have to port and polish them, get a three angle valve job and wonder what it would take to acheive 7000RPM...
