tightening down the 3rd brake light

tightening down the 3rd brake light

that sum-bich is flopping around on the back deck like an epileptic at a strobe light convention. do i have to take the seats out to get to the back panel to tighten it down?

There are 2 screws, one on each side near the base. That is all that should be holding it on. But I highly doubt you need to remove the seat at all. Other way to get to it, is from underneath the deck from the trunk.

the 2 at the base are tight and i didnt see anything to tighten under the deck.

That's because it screws down on top of the the rear deck, it's a metal bracket. Remove the two side screws from the light housing and take the assemble out.
