indyyellow based on the way you have posted to this thread within minutes of your last posts his comment wasn't far off, and considering your track record for misspellings and terrible grammar in general I wouldn't try going that route with the retort.

everyone chillax and get back on the topic(since it was scattered at best) of whether you know who is selling these and if you can get a hold of them to get a straight answer.

Wow the admin of a forum is calling out a member as having a disorder. If your going to admin a forum you may want to learn how to do so in a better way. Any forum of mine you would not be a entry level mod. You have less class then GTU does.
For the record I am actually Bipolar. So if you must pick on me please choose the correct disorder.

Rule #1 posted here about posting manners of the site.

*No personal attacks on other members will be tolerated. If you question someone, it must be done in a reasonable and semi-friendly manner. Violating this rule will be grounds for a warning followed by a 3-5 day suspension and permanent removal from the board if violation occurs after suspension.

DIEDEMUS you are in violation of your own rules. You should be also be giving GTU a warning for his actions also.

you need to get a better understanding of the English language, and using a disorder as a crutch and excuse for poor behavior generally irritates people with legitimate disorders.

For the record I have borderline personality disorder, and if you think I am picking on you for having a disorder you really should probably stop posting here.

Actually, from my seat, he is not in violation of anything. But this is merely an opinion. Besides he owns the board. Kinda hard for him to ban or suspend himself. LOL

And since I'm throwing an opinion, here's another:

Indy, not trying to get you upset, but from my observations the past month or so, you seem to post a lot. Meaning, instead of editing a post to add more to it, you put in more posts. And you create many threads whereas a few would do the same job.

Now no, this is not a big deal, but from the aspect of some members it can seem ... Annoying.

This could also be why some feedback/responses from members have been slower lately. Not sure how else to say it, but this way. Not trying to be mean, or anything like that. I think you are doing awesome, fixing it and taking the project on like you have.

Just trying to maybe point this out, so you can benefit more. We like seeing the type of work from members like you are doing, just need to relax a bit bud with some of the posting. lol

I was not using my disorder as a crutch. I was not the one that put out such RUDE comments about someone having a disorder to bust on them about their posting habits, GTU then YOU diedemus did. I only pointed out that you have a member that is breaking your NUMBER ONE POSTING RULE. And you backed him in breaking that rule with your post, that makes you an a party to his posting. I never once used any disorder ever in any post on this site to cut down another member, GTU then YOU did. I just suggested to GTU that if he is going to say I have a disorder that he use the one that really is me, you won't find anywhere here that I posted that "hey I have this, be nice to me". Get YOUR facts straight. I will say that your admin you are dot doing a good job at following your own site rules. Instead of telling a member that he was a little out of line and should EDIT HIS POST, you just piled on. Pathetic.

POSTING RULE # 1
No personal attacks on other members will be tolerated. If you question someone, it must be done in a reasonable and semi-friendly manner.**********

GTU post directed at me****
Dont really care if you care for my "tone" or not. If it offended you that's your problem. The reason I said what I said is because in your for sale thread you were posting like you had some form of tourretts which made it seem to me like you really needed to sell the car.

Is what he said not a personal attack and done in a semi unfriendly way? Calling out that someone has a disorder that frankly if I am on this site and I have that diisorder I am on the admins butt to ban that type of member. That member has no tact in how he thinks about people that struggle is disorders.

Then the SITE OWNER DIEDEMUS as you make clear chimes in agreeing with GTU comments about as....

indyyellow based on the way you have posted to this thread within minutes of your last posts his comment wasn't far off,

-----------------
You tell me, who is failing the site rules, me for posting too much or those two for clearly breaking site rules NUMBER 1 in a VERY tasteless manner.

I will stop posting now, period. Most of all of you are great folks and have been a huge help to me. I think I have a handle on how this site is run and who gets to say what they want. As I stated before, PATHETIC.

Ahh, I missed this one. You posted that you agree with him stating "HIS COMMENTS WERE NOT FAR OFF" in a prev post, so yes you were picking on me, to use your words.
Funny that I quote things you two said, facts striaght out of your posts, but I am the bad guy here.

now I am done, period.

Well you all are right on one thing, I can't stop talking.
I own and run www.yesfans.com and I never would back up a members post asserting how that member thinks another members personal mental health is.
If your an admin play by your own rules, don't be above them.

see this is the point, you made 4 posts to your own thread in half an hour, earlier in the thread you made several within minutes of each other. What you do on your forum is your problem. Commenting on your excessive posting habits is not a personal attack, comparing it to a disorder or otherwise. I say you are using it as a crutch because no one needed to know you were bipolar, in the context of your post it came off as fishing for sympathy.

If you can't handle someones opinion then you really shouldn't be on the internet at all.

"The reason I said what I said is because in your for sale thread you were posting like you had some form of tourretts which made it seem to me like you really needed to sell the car"

Sure that is an opinion but one of a personal attack in nature. He is saying I have tourett's, what do you see there otherwise? Per your posting rules, what is reasonable and semi friendly about that statement about me? That is a tasteless post and you got in line with him in feeling the same with yur own post. I use you guys statements, your own words, and I am the bad guy here. You play from a posting rule book that is fluid to fit what you need to be the good guy.

Yikes.

Ah well. One thing I have learned in my many years of forum posting. You can't take anything posted correctly. Many of us always get someone wrong by how their post sounds in their head, rather than how it was meant. I have to often read and re read a post, trying to interpret someone elses intent and even I often still get it wrong.

I bear no one on here any malice, but even I have taken posts personal before. Its part of our nature.

99 percent of the people on here are really nice people. Sometimes we just simply misunderstand their post, or the post's intent.

I can almost guarantee you that if you had the same conversation in person, people would react differently. That is one thing I have found from going to the Beretta Fests.

ANYWAY.

My earlier post was meant to be a constructive criticism, and to help you understand what others may interpret your actions.... That's all.

And again, this is not against you personally bud. Just the way it goes. Take me and SGR. At times I want to strangle him through the forum, but I know its just mostly the way he comes across in his posts, not really his actual attitude. He is actually a decent guy, but many can find him abrasive. He can be quick to argue facts, and sometimes he is right and sometimes he is wrong... LOL

Anyway. Lets all just calm down, before I break out some prozac or something. :P And yes that was mean to be a funny joke, not a poke at any of you personally.

I totaly agree with your point that you can't take postings correctly, that it may sound diff in our heads. But this one, GTU spells out his feelings and thoughts quite well. There is no room for WELL MAYBE HE REALLY MEANT IT THIS WAY OR THAT WAY.

"Dont really care if you care for my "tone" or not. If it offended you that's your problem. The reason I said what I said is because in your for sale thread you were posting like you had some form of tourretts which made it seem to me like you really needed to sell the car."

Like I said, the admin is playing with a fluid rule book, and to make it worse states that he felt that the post above was valid to him also.
