How does 89-94 strut mount install differ from the writeup?

How does 89-94 strut mount install differ from the writeup that jon has here?

My manuals for my 92 seem to be the same procedure.

I compared pictures of both of the mounts online and it looks like the only difference is the spacer that comes with the 95+. Could this be the only difference?

I did the struts on my car, and from what i can tell, its the same process as the later ones, just without the spacer. So to answer your question, yes its the same
