Okay, is it possible to take the lenses off of the headlights to use headlight restorer? How difficult? I don't want to rip them apart not knowing if they will go back together ok because its my daily driver. I'm guessing they'd need re-sealed?

Are you talking about restoring the outside or the inside? The outside you can do on or off the car, the lamps can be removed pretty easy. However, if you are wanting to clean the inside, you cannot use a kit to do it. The inside has texture, whereas the outside is smooth. So the restore kits that work by sanding then polishing will not work. You just have to clean them good. Not to mention I think they are glued together, so they would have to be cut apart and re-glued I think.

Inside, I did the outside but the passenger headlight is still fogged/yellowed a bit. The headlight restorer is that cheap shitty paste stuff (I guess basically just wax) that you put on, wait to dry then wash off.

So it would be much easier to just get a pair of new headlights for it?

Easier? Possibly. Aftermarket or a set from a yard... Or use a kit on the fronts that has the sanding/polishing stuff that you can chuck into a drill.
