I fail to see the issue at all. Getting rid of a car over decals? Seems silly to me, but maybe I just don't get it..

I keep the Quad's around because they're a BLAST to drive. For instance, the Quasar is down waiting on an E-PROM for the ECM right now. I've had it down for other reasons (Top end rebuild, etc.) and as soon as I started driving it again it was like going and hanging out with an old friend I hadn't seen in ages. An absolute blast!

When I get pissed at , tired of, or just plain frustrated with the Z or the SCX or what have you, I ignore it for a bit and then go back to it. I always find my vigor renewed for the car. If I ever don't, then it's time to sell or scrap.

I'm just a glutton for punishment...... LOL

But I do own two that are drivable, and I enjoy driving them. But that's me.

"getting rid of a car over decals"

For me it does play into keeping it or not some. In my case if I am keeping, it is to restore, those decals are one of the MAIN things for me in restoring this car, after all that is what makes the car what it is.

Decals do not make a car what it is. That's the most ridiculous thing I've EVER heard.

The car is STILL an Indy, it can still be authenticated as one by VIN and body equipment as well as interior.

Come on the decals for this car go a long way to make it what it is. So you would drive a classic GTO with out all its decals and be happy with it with out the decals?

Just call them or email them about the color. I talked to them about dew strips and they have them in stock. Just cost a lot with shipping to Canada. But I'm still gonna get it when I have the money. So if this is all that stands between selland keeping then here you go. I would if it was me.

My quaser GTZ is missing the GTZ decal on the rear bumber since I have it fully restored and professionally repainted.
Eventhough I like the look of the logo I do not really miss it and I honestly dont give a crap about it.
I know what I have - what it really is - and the MOST important, in what a great condition it is.
