Oil Filter Question

Post by 2.2H8TA »

Ok so it's time for an oil change in the 96' Z, the first one following the intake job.
I've seen a few times on here, people ripping on the fram filters. I wanna know why, because I know that thats whats in there now. If there is a problem with the fram filters, what is it, and what filter should I use?
If I'm wrong, or have been misinformed on this, please feel free to let me know.
Thanks.

I just ran ACDelco on mine and called it a day.

Wow. I just read the ones for FRAM and they are made of fail and lose.

I run the Purilator, or Bosch filter, depending on which one is on sale with the oil at advance auto. I got two oil change deals last week, saved $51... Full synth Penzoil oil and Bosch extreme distance filters, $23.
