Re: what did you do to your ride today?
Fixed a couple small things on the 3400 Z and took a quick pic of it and the Quad Z.

Got it running again. Magnetic pickup sensor went bad again. Went for a test drive and now the turn signals don't work. Ugh.
Fixed it. Bad brake light fuse.

I'm glad that's all it was, but at the same time... damn they need to make one that lasts. Shitty on the turn signals too...Rex 2.0 wrote:Got it running again. Magnetic pickup sensor went bad again. Went for a test drive and now the turn signals don't work. Ugh.

Yeah, That would be nice. This is the third time I have replaced it since I have owned the car. I don't even put that many miles on it.
The turn signals was the fuse for my brake lights. Probably blew when I reconnected the battery or something. Oh well it works and I can drive it a bit before any more snow comes.

Worked out a deal and I'm picking up another Quad Z26 on Sunday for 400! He said he is going to change the oil so I can drive it home without trailering it. The door jams are solid in it too!

Nice. Tomorrow I am most likely putting mine away until March/April.
Re: what did you do to your ride today?
Damn man. What the hell is wrong with it?
hahah
My Z is already asleep.
Spent time ordering crap for mine, as I have to start rebuilding the base in a week or so.

Mines kind of asleep... Been sitting in the garage since I brought it to Epping in October... Only drove it once since then... I'm sure I'll take it out next week a few more times since the weather is looking up and hopefully all the water/salt snow crap on the roads will be gone... She doesn't get to hibernate till Roberts car is out of her spot.

The black Quad Z is already in the garage for the winter. After I get back from the two hour drive to get the new one I'm picking up on Sunday I'm planning on organizing the garage. Then its time to start tearing down the black one haha.

Well i went to a new wreckers i just found out about, there was 1 beretta there. 95 z26 apparently it been there a few years as an insurance claim, was hit on the back end and only pushed the bumper skin in and broke the lower filler panel car was MINT other wise, no rust at all anywhere, interior Spotless. so sad..
was able to get the front bumper (MINT) power steering pump, dew strips, upper filler panel and a few small things.need to go back and get side skirt brackets and snag the tail lights that are mint too.

Swapped the heater core, and fresh coolant for winter. Also added another 12V socket under the dash.

Re: what did you do to your ride today?
welded up a new-to-me muffler (basically new, super turbo-i think 'Cherry bomb'?) and reused the stock tips last night, and installed it this afternoon... much better than the crap replacement cheapy that was put on last (maybe max 2 years ago), bottom rotted out and then blew... flapping metal, so i gutted the complete bottom of the muffler... havent had the money for a couple months.
4th one's a charm, 5th one is, beginnning to sound like this is an addiction...

I washed and waxed mine in preparation for Winter. That's the last good cleaning she'll see until next year!

Took it to a power wash to clean it from the last trip to the drag way...
