MAF Sensor Fuse was missing...!
MAF Sensor Fuse was missing...!
Okay, I was looking at the fuses, replacing some with newer fuses (same ratings, just newer and not ancient) and I noticed that the MAF Sensor fuse was missing, so I put one in but the fuse isn't very tight in there, you can wiggle it. Anyways, did the lack of a MAF Sensor fuse hurt anything? It seemed to idle better and run better and didn't smell as rich as before, not sure though. Could that fuse be missing cause those problems?

Does your car have a MAF? 89's don't.GTU89 wrote:Okay, I was looking at the fuses, replacing some with newer fuses (same ratings, just newer and not ancient) and I noticed that the MAF Sensor fuse was missing, so I put one in but the fuse isn't very tight in there, you can wiggle it. It's probably not tight because there are no terminals in there since the 88 had a maf and then 89 they removed it and probably just didn't change the fuse door cover label.
