Swapped to a new dash and also swapped the heater core. A big thanks to Chad (Chad91GTZ) and Jon (88_GTU) for their assistance. And thanks to Chad for the dash as well. It's just beautiful. Now I need to get a cover for it.

I washed mine the other day; first time since August lol. Soon it will be sitting under a cover, hopefully to get torn apart for some suspension upgrades.

admitted defeat on my DIY paintjob. too damned ashamed to admit how bad it got, but it required lots of sandpaper and chemical stripper. off to maaco tomorrow for a quote.

Today: rewired cooling fan due to previous owner issues. Installed a new battery in the trunk which I got from a 2011 vette on our showroom. Relocated and installed new ground cable in the trunk for remote battery. And a new peachy peach air freshener ftw!

You guys/gals motivated me to actually do something with my Z other then look at it. Saturday I put its new cooling fan in (been laying in the garage, under the car for over a year), fixed a couple leaks, took it off the jack stands, and I charged the battery. It still runs......barely. I think the gas went bad, or it needs to relearn how to run, but point being, it runs and moves under its own power. Like I said before, it last ran in june or july of '10.

Add some fresh to that old gas and maybe some Seafoam. Then give her an idle learn!

Re: what did you do to your ride today?
installed a new passenger control arm last night (about 3 hours i guess, from setting up on axle stands to pulling it out for a test drive, much quicker than the drivers side a couple months back), new spark plugs in today, and spare rear valvecover breather hose due to breaking the original (i love spare parts!), and cleaned the throttlebody... man was it dirty, and i think spark plugs were well past due, there was some build up on them. hope to see some gas mileage increase! (air filter and pcv valve, and an oil change to come... seafoam too i think)

Took miss blue out of the garage after 1 month and she fired right up - as always! But I always love it.

Re: what did you do to your ride today?
Drove mine thru the auto car wash on the way to work this morning. It's only been driven a few times the last couple weeks. Had been sitting under some tree that has "berries" on it and it was covered in berry/bird poo. Car wash didn't help much, but in this cold rainy weather it's not going to get a real bath any time soon!
Mostly you meet friends when traveling by accident, like by sitting next to them on the train, or in a restaurant, or in a holding cell.

So far today, I was going through the recent pics I took and found this one of a super nice dash in a 93GT at a local yard!
I thought about going to pull it today so I can swap it into my car, but then I checked the outside temp, and it's 9 degrees F! So I'm gonna say screw it and go back to bed!
