Gauging Interest! ABS Module Delete Plates!

Post by scd88ga »

Is there any interest in me making an aluminum ABS module delete plate for those of you that removed your ABS that don't want a big ugly hole or a useless module adding weight?

I'm confused. Where does this thing actually go where it would leave an eyesore of a hole? LOL

I don't recognize this piece.

It goes on the firewall, kinda in the middle of it, pretty much right behind the space between the coil packs and the alternator.

Ours are usually silver (unpainted metal). The one Brett pictured looks to be painted.

Either left unplugged or removed, it looks ugly! A bare aluminum plate or bare painted plate would look way better! You can see it in this pic of my engine bay. I still have my ABS, but plan on removing it.

So, anyone interested or what? lol

Personally, I would rather have the ABS working than not, and since you don't ride under the hood while driving the car it matters little to me. I thought this was some thing that was inside. lol

Yeah, this is more of a showcar/racecar thing. If you don't do either, keep your ABS! ;)

I'm 100% interested. I no longer run ABS up front, and plans are in the works to stop using it out back.

One of those plates would be the win. Then all I've have to do is ditch the bigass master cylinder abs motor unit.
