You guys were right it doesn't look good at all at least in my opinion. I have a black gtu but this coming summer I'm really thinking about painting her yellow.

There is an aftermarket fiberglass one that fits the base bumpers.

There are also 2 eggcrates. There is the molded black plastic and the paintable plastic. The emblems are not interchangable between either style for some reason.

I'm late finding this thread. Sounds like you made up your mind, but here a few pics of my GTU when I had the solid grill on it. I noticed in that other pic that the one GTU was missing the front spoiler. Here's the complete package anyway...
