Light Weight Pulley
Is buying a light weight pulley worth the money? And does it really help like it says?

Light Weight Pulley
light weight pulley, well some of our pulleys are plastic anyways... The balancer pulley is metal and for a reason.. If you got a smaller Underdrive pulley then that is where you would notice gains. I think FFP dynoed 8hp increase... ?

Lightweight = Good
Underdrive = Bad for Stereo
Lightweight pullies like aluminum ones are great cuase they will spin your alternator at the desired speeds and you gain horsepower and you can rev faster.
Underdrive is great if you dont have a booming sound system.  Over time if your system is trying to draw to many amps without them beeing produced can cause problems down the road.  A normal car with a mild sound system shouldnt have a problem, but if you are into competion forget about them and go with lightweight.
