Too much roll in corners !
Ok, My base has way too much roll in corners for me too like. I need to get some new suspension this summer, and get rims. My budget will be tight, BerettaXtreme told me that JC Whitney sells some 'Suspension Techniques' for around $140 , I'm looking for some suggestions. Please help me .

they are good springs, i'd get them, i'd also get some larger proprotional sway bars to compliment them.

Yeah, aftermarket springs will definitly help in that area. I have a brand that I'd highly recommend... cough cough EIBACH...cough I am very pleased with them. Alot of ppl don't like them as much as the Intrax, but thats b/c they want the car lower. I on the other hand cared more about handling at that point then lowering the cars height. Body roll was greatly reduced. Compliment those springs with some swaybars, a strut tower brace, and some new rubber, you'll be handling alot better than ya were.

Actually, I found that the 205 studed tires my uncle ran on his pickup stuck to the road awsome.. Though Brian might have different luck with 105's.. or whatever he runs

Front Strut tower brace, makes a world of a difference, My front end barely has any roll to it, I've also got the lower brace but I'm not convinced that it did too much. It's the a$$ end that rolls now, but what do you expect from a 4 Door Sedan, oh well.

Don't forget STRUTS & SHOCKS!!!
If you gotta take the front springs off anyways might as well replace the worn struts at the same time to save money and labor. Monroe sensitracs are decent for the money. With good springs it will prove fun but still not the all out best. I'd get new upperstrut mounts at this time too as if they strut is any old, 99.9% the strut mounts are shot too. THose are about 50 a side.
But if you are doing the springs, then you gotta take the front ones off and have them un-compressed/compressed anyways and get an alignment so why not throw on some nice new struts... The shocks can be done at a later time no problem, no need for an alignment or anything for the rear.

What should you do to improve suspension & handling:
The GM FWD cars are inherently designed to keep going straight if pushed to their limits, this is called "understeer", which was built into the chassis to provide more handling stability- not the best cornering. A car going straight in a critical situation is better than one spinning (oversteer) out of control.
Springs & shocks- The modifications we provide are aimed at giving the chassis better road holding with improved shocks and springs for lower the center of gravity and giving more control of the chassis in all conditions. Our years of racing experience and work with suspension engineers form GM and other companies have led us to building a full line of shock and strut upgrades for the GM small cars- more than any other major manufacturer in the auto industry. Check around, our struts have earned a good reputation in many forms of sports and competition events.
Swaybars- Also called anti-roll bars. The next thing you want to do after lowering the car some is to decrease body roll even more with swaybars- which also serve as a nice chassis tuning tool since there are different sizes to create levels of handling improvement to suit you driving needs. FWD cars need MORE rear swaybar in any application to reduce the built in understeer of the chassis. The larger the rear bar the more neutral (and beyond) you can tune the chassis. At some point a larger front bar will balance the car and flatten the handling even more.

They improve steering and handling feel the same way with less defection or movement of the related parts from their designed locations, while the shock, springs and swaybars, etc. are controlling the chassis- the same way every time you drive.
