carbon fiber pieces
Hey I was looking around on car domain and can across these interior pieces. Pass side cupholder, stereo surround and shifter plate.

Hey said he got them from Baims_91base on berettaspeed.com. did he make them if he did does he still or is there anywhere else I can get them? Or is he on this forum now?

That is fake carbon fiber vinyl layed over the original trim pieces. I did this briefly many moons ago. In recent years the fake carbon fiber stuff has come a long way and almost looks real. The stuff in that pic (same stuff I had) was obviously fake. I wonder how it would look with some of the modern stuff done the same way. I will tell you though, stretching vinyl over complex shapes is an art form.

Wow - JeffsGT - haven't seen that car's interior in awhile!
You're right Woody, it definitely takes some time to master...but yeah, I did the work for him back in 2002 or 2003 if I remember right.
I've always wanted to improve upon the look of it (I've had it installed in my 1991 for quite some time now) - I like what it does beyond the stock texture of the trim pieces (in the right setting), but it definitely isn't as good as the real thing. And obviously the real thing is no easy task without molds of the pieces and a lot more initial investment. (I can wreck 3 ft of vinyl and not care
