Oh I see.. that's would have saved me a lot of time lol. Now I know for.next time and when I fix the black Z's foglightsDTMAce wrote:Doesn't matter. The unit is a one piece assembly, you don't take the lens/refractor out of its holder, you just unbolt the 2 bolts that hold the whole thing into the inner steel bumper. Once its out of the car, then you can disassemble it into its 2 main pieces, the adjuster/holder and the light assembly, which can also be further dismantled, as the glass is adhered to the refractor with black silicone. I should know, I have had to completely rebuild my current set. And you do not have to take the cover off. Its easiest from the bottom with the bottom black plastic cover removed, but often the screws rust in place, so next step is from above by removing the headlight/lights, and possibly the support panel.SummitBalt08 wrote: Yeah but I had to replace the lense too. It was cracked and had a chunk missing out of the glass part. That's why I had to remove the whole thing.

Got my new Drag Radials... I have heard Hoosier is the best DR tire

I spent $325 on the setup plus $41 shipping... a guy on 60* had them for his GA, they've never been run at the strip yet but he had them mounted up once on his car for a photo.
Might just spray the spokes with plasti dip to make them black so they "match" the rear rims I have.

One less thing that I have to do now.

Listened to the Catalytic converter rattle and smelled gas all day as usual... I wish there was a less expensive way to fix the issue with the cat, other than buying a new one... Wish I had a garage to work on the car as well lmao!

Noticed that my left front ventshade is about an 1/8th inch further back than the right. OCD pet peeves. Then contemplated on what kind of material to use on my headliner when i redo it. Getting excited to FINALLY finish my damn wheel project.

Found the exact headliner material at ... JoAnn's fabrics! 50 some inches wide, by whatever length you need. About 15 bucks a yard length.
Has the foam and the close color of grey material. All you need to do is drop the current headliner, sand or rub away the old foam and material, get a can of 3M spray adhesive, follow directions and reapply the new material. Then trim and re-install. Done.

I like the flat. I've used Niteshades a lot. I'd rather clearcoat it so it holds up, but I'd have to find some flat clearcoat...
