I spent $325 on the setup plus $41 shipping... a guy on 60* had them for his GA, they've never been run at the strip yet but he had them mounted up once on his car for a photo.

Might just spray the spokes with plasti dip to make them black so they "match" the rear rims I have.
Sweet buy. Don't use PlastiDip if you want them to match though. I used it on my truck and it's flat.

Door trim was done in PD over the chrome.

Hooked up the subs (At 12:01 a.m I got done haha). And went to the car wash. Got 10 dollars in quarters only to find out the stall i was in was broken and was running free. Nothing beats free! :D

What do you guys think of this? I cut the center out of my base grille, and I am going to smooth the inside, and put some type of grille back there...

Still not sure on the emblem... Out of the car it looks a lot like a Camaro grille, but not in...

Is that a Wilwood J-body kit?

Thats a very nice option for those who want to keep the 5x100, use a 16" rim but want 12" rotors.... weighing a measly 10.8lbs... BUT you need to put up 1k for the drilled and slotted kit.

It is the j-body kit. It fits the 92-up knuckles perfectly. I will have to get custom stainless brake lines made but that was the plan anyway. I was really hoping they would fit under my GTU rims without much of a spacer but that didn't happen. They do however fit quite nicely under the 16" OZs that also happen to weigh 7lbs less per rim than the GTUs so I'm not really complaining. If you can get past the steep pricetag they're actually a great mod.

Robert was asking me about big brake upgrades and he wants to keep his Cavi rims... and supposedly these should fit behind the 16" cavi ones so maybe if he has 1k burning a hole in his pocket he could get them.

What special lines do you need? I thought the kit came with them?

The kit doesn't come with brake hoses. There is an option for the cavaliers for another $150 iirc but I'm not positive that they have the same ends as the beretta. When I look up the part numbers for the 99 cavalier front brake hoses they are different from the beretta part numbers. I havent taken the time yet to stop at a parts store to compare the 2. I'm also going to be running an FE7 front bar so I'll have to figure out the routing for the hose. The caliper and rotor part numbers were the same between the 2 cars so I knew the rest of the kit would fit. Do you happen to know the offset for Roberts cavi wheels? our stock 42mm was not even close to working but the 35mm OZ clear perfectly. There may be about a mm of room to play with there but not much more.

Why was the stock 42mm not working? did the rim face hit the caliper? If so that would probably be more of an issue for his since I know they seem tighter in, or they are probably the same 42mm, if not 45mm.

Cavi guys say that they can still use stock rims on this setup though, so thats what made me think it could work.

Not sure what end your hard lines have but you could probably do what I did...

I did these fittings on all 4 corners and just got steel braided lines, -3an to the right Banjo for the caliper and used those. The fitting is a 989534ERL Brake Adapter 3an to 10mm x 1.0 Female NOT Inverted Flare, aka bubble flare.

Ask a few cavi guys if the Wilwood kit fits behind the Chrome 03 style wheels.

Yeah, the 92+ knuckles are needed. thanks for the advice on the fitting Modified! I'm going to have all 4 lines made as I'm working on the neon rears also so that helps greatly! As for the wheels, with the GTU and GTZ rims it was the face hitting the caliper as these are 4 piston and much wider than our stockers. I'll try to snap a pic if I can find one of the old calipers layin around.

Here's 2 pics of the setup. Notice how much further the caliper sticks out from the rotor hat. It's a pretty large difference from the stockers.
