I'll probably squirt starter fluid down the air box...

This'll probably be an 'during the holidays' project, as I have to take the battery to Autozone and recharge it.

I think some things evaporate out. I'd try a little fresh fuel down the throttle body and if she fires, If you don't have much in the tank,you're going to have to add some fresh fuel and maybe bleed the fuel line to get the mix to the engine.
You would be surprised. We got my dad's old truck fired up last summer and it ran on 5 year old gas. It smoked a lot, but ran enough to get it on the trailer lol.

I look forward to seeing the progress on this. I'm a bit partial just because I never got to fix up my old Base. I think you need to post some photos. They always make a thread 10x better, well they do for me anyway.
